Title: Eliminate download open/save window to automatically download file from URL
Post by: reallife on October 28, 2017, 01:40:20 AM
After clicking on a file link to down load it, is there a way to not have the "you have chosen to open" window appear and ask you to click to save the file?

I am trying to download a file immediately without having to browse to a directory location to save the file to on my local machine?

Anyway to not have this pop up window appear and just have the file begin to download?

Attached is a screen shot of what I am talking about.

Thx

GF

There should be some option to do that on your browser configuration. Read this (https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/change-firefox-behavior-when-open-file) help for further information (there you must choose the folder where you want to save the files (instead of using 'Always ask you where to save files').
