So i was also wondering if i could use this awesome program "HFS" to run my simple text/image based website?

it is possible to use hfs to display HTML pages, it is necessary to replace the contents of the template by what  you wish to publish.

If you have the time you can use HFS to do absolutely whatever you want :)
