Title: New user needs a little help

Hi guys

just installed httpfileserver on mt server in the loft.

added a hdd and can access it perfectly when im out and about.

However, how i do set a password?

for example, i also have sickbeard and sabnzbd installed on the same server and when i connect to them they ask me for a username/password
in the settings for them iirc they are called http username/password.

Is that possible with httpfileserver?

sure.
The easiest way is to right click on the home/root element and then "set user/pass".

You can do much more than this, you can make accounts, groups, restrict different folders in different ways.
