i have an idea of putting an mp3 or ogg encoder into it somehow, like divx and some other programmer teams done so....
with this it is capable for listening audio from one or multiple clients even with slower connections...

would be a free alternative for some shareware utils:)

the upload function is also a great idea.

there's no need for plugins at this stage

if someone want to code support for the streaming you are talking about, it can just expand HFS itself, since it is opensource

i will think about a plugin system if people has large needs about expanding HFS, but at the moment noone ever contribute anything.

so let's concentrate on things we need.
