when HFS is ON, try doing start  menu -> run ...
Code: [Select]
telnet localhost <PORT>
well, instead of <PORT> you should write the port on which HFS is listening (read it in the top bar)

this let you know if HFS is truly listening, as a server should...

if a black window comes up, then it is listening
if nothing happens, or an error messages comes up, then it is not listening

please, report here the result of this test

I mean, for a test you shouldn't put all this stuff on your server.

siphter -
I was just looking/testing at your server/music  - can you tell if you have the HFS version 1.5b ?

And can you try and switch the flag - Other-options->GetRight Browser  - to ON ?
I was going to try and test-use this Browser for download ..

Thanks

Are you sure that "Get Right" option is ON ?  If so - may be there is a bug  there... :?

Looks like the GetRight browser works Ok.
Maybe it is better to put the "URL Encoding" options - ON too, so people can see the file names better...

Just to explain - one  problem with this HTTP server is - that it is hard to do multiple downloads (like - a whole directory).
The GetRight browser - helps a lot in automating this. For example - you can choose to get files into the same directory "tree" , select multiple files  etc.

So, for the time being I am enjoying your music... Let me know if it disturbes your surfing ...  :)
