Title: Map network drive
Post by: xeim on August 10, 2019, 05:48:26 PM
Hi,

Just installed HFS in my server. Now in my client machine I want to map it as a network drive. Can I do it or not?
I specify the following url:

http  // ip_server:8080/folder_name/

And next enter login and password set in HFS. But it doesn't work. I have Windows Server 2016 and Windows 10 in client machine. Can anybody help? Thx.

what your looking for is called webdav

I have not been successful with using hfs and windows network drive mapping.
https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/iis/install/installing-publishing-technologies/installing-and-configuring-webdav-on-iis

i recommend program and features iss web server and iscsi target network stuff

or
ftp filezila server and map to ftp

hfs is a file server over http, best to describe it ftp over http with out using ftp protocal.
