Bug reports / Re: HFS crashes computer when serving files from a usb hard drive

yeah .. I think it's a computer problem ... not a virus. The usb drive in question is 15 metres away from the computer via 2 usb extension leads with repeaters (essentially one port hubs) and a further 5 metre cable with a powered hub under the TV(It's a multimedia H/D). All works fine unless I reboot the computer with the usb devices plugged in. The problem only arises when this equipment is plugged in at windows startup. So I have a good work around for the problem and I'm glad it's just me with the problem. It would have been a bitch to fix if it was HFS because I never got to see an error message or log. Thanks again for the feedback .. knowing it works fine for others has helped me enormously to investigate my problem more carefully.
Is there, or will there in the future, be some way to select just the subfolders for the archive/download option when using the real folder option ?
