Hello Everyone,

I am trying to setup HFS to work with my Iphone... I have been able to get the screen size to work ok by editing the main template file and adding a new metatag... but I would like to go one more step and add more iphone touch options to my HFS page but to do this I need to add a new javascript file and also a new css style sheet... how can I add extra stuff so that HFS can see it... where do I put the folders with the javascript and also the css files in them for HFS to see and read the directories ???

Any Help would be great ...

TIA ...

Look at the RAWR Designs templates as they use both CSS and Javascript. See in their template file how they load their others css/java files.

I did download one of there template files and put the folder into the same location as the hfs.exe file then I selected import a template file and it did not import right or something because all I see is code when I go to my HFS page... so I had to restore the template file to the default one....

HFS does not need to be beside the template folder

1. Unrar one of the RAWR Designs Template .RAR to any location
2. Open HFS (there should be nothing in the HFS tree at this moment) > Menu > HTML Template > Change File >>> Select the *.tpl file that came in the template RAR file. (a message will be displayed in HFS afterwards, and a template folder added to the HFS tree)

PS. If you have no experience in making templates i should suggest that you yourself practice messing with such templates that are already done so you can afterwards make you own custom one. As for me i've learned a lot in the past months by doing so.

PS2. Please post only on one topic if related to the subject.

For a starters, you're seeing code on the pages because you aren't using a recent HFS beta, HFS 2.3

HFS Beta Board:

Someone did make an iPhone optimised template:

welcome Scott.
i guess best solution for you is to put all the stuff you need in a folder, then add this folder in HFS as "real folder".
a good move would be to also hide this folder.
you will be able to access the file in it by using /foldername/yourfile.css
