Application Error: Hidden Layered Windows

Two days ago I got the following application error:

Hidden Layered Windows: hfs.exe - Application Error

The instruction at "0x1000ec0e" referenced memory at "0x00000ba4. The memory could not be "read".

stops working and my HFS server (for port 80).
under Windows XP SP3.

1. what HFS version are you using?
2. did you get the error just once?

I'm using HFS 2.3b255 also tried earlier versions and is the same.
Since HFS home starts working right, then go to the browser (Firefox 3.6) after a few seconds and does not work, I click the icon in the SystemTray and unresponsive and I have to kill the process, sometimes I get the application error : Hidden Layered Windows.
What could it be?
