Sorry if this has been requested before, but it would be nice to have an option to resolve the domain name of a connected user.

I downloaded 0.9.5.7.. but the away messages are still not shown in the chat window. Since the message above seems to be directed at me, I would appreciate translation

Well it seems the invisible checker is working nicely. If the author of this russian mod reads this I would like if he fixes away messages because they are not shown in the chat window anymore (kind of annoying to have to look in the log window every time). Also I think english should be the default language because I (and I bet a lot of other &rq users) do not understand russian. Thankfully I could alter the old txt-files for the new text strings.

Where can i find new releases on website ?
0.9.4.16 is the newest non-beta version.. I don't know if .17 ever will be stable since the &RQ.NET project will take much time, even though rejetto has promised to fix some bugs.. it can take a while

My guess is rejetto is busy studying and working at the moment and any development for &RQ would be from people like kirys (see cvs repository).

HFS ~ HTTP File Server / weird behaviour

I added shell context menu for all and now when I double-click mpg-files, HFS starts. The default behaviour is Play, not HFS. Seems this only has affected movie files (mpg, avi) where Play is the only menu item above HFS. Is this a windows xp bug or hfs related at all?

once in a while I run hfs to share mp3s with friends (mainly ones that don't use ftp) and they might want to download a whole album (which is in a directory)...
could it be possible to add a feature to zip a folder on the fly and delete it when the download is complete?

I minimize HFS to the tray and then restore it, then none of the buttons, nor the file tree or the minimize button respond to mouse clicks.

Developers / I'm thinking about a plugin...

The applet could communicate with a process on the server (the plugin) with some protocol. The plugin asks &rq to connect, send messages, read messages, contact list info etc. For this to work, all functions in &rq should be accessible from a plugin. (like retrieve preferences window, push button in preferences window and so on..)

It sounds like a good idea, am I being able to "hook unto" my &rq session at home and control it if it's already online too?

I'm developing an icq clone and today I implemented the online user event
(also used for status change) and when I changed status in &rq a couple of new TLVs were sent:
0x0011 with length 5 and 0x00012 with length 2. Care to explain what they're for?
