make a folder somewhere on your hard drive and call it uploads
then drag it to HFS and leave it as a real folder not a virtual one.............
whenever someone clicks on the uploads button they will be able to upload.....

You will also have to set Upload permissions for the "real" folder once you have placed it in the HFS tree by right clicking the "real" folder.

do not use a virtual folder. Upload works only on  a REAL folder (with the ugly pink color...) , as was mentioned before

* don't create a new folder.
* Drag & drop any folder from the Windows Explorer to HFS.
* answer  to "do you want it to be virtual? " with "NO"
* upload to IT.
