Unable to read & download file that are names in an asian language

Hi,

i have been using HFS for quite some time. and use the TOG template,

i have a quite a few files in my server that have asian name, which i am unable to view or download from my server, is there a fix for this?

please help thanks

nope, i tried all the templates....default, live TOG....

just in case u are wondering the language is Japanese, and the HFS hosted OS is windows 7 64 bit, which can read the japanese language named files...

please drag&drop one of those unreadable files in the "virtual file system" pane of HFS, and post a screenshot of it.

as i supposed.
those files have a unicode name and are not currently supported in HFS, sorry.

i have an idea on how to add support for them, since they are in a real folder with an ansi name, but i'm not sure and anyway i don't know when this will come. Don't hold your breath.

damn! and i almost made a world record for holding my breath lol  ;D NP...just needed to tell you this...i will simply rename the files to something like 1 2 3

Or simply ABC, for those who do not know how to count, it will be easier   ;D ;D
