well i got the 8600GT and its said to be OCable...so i am gonna do some testing this weekend. the overall performance is not bad as u can see that i am using a Dual core not a Core 2 duo, and only 1 GB ram...
btw i use windows XP pro, more customizable and turn of alot of unecessary features that i dont need when i am not gaming.
actually i bought the basic version of vista but then its so bloody crappy i mean Microd***s took 6 years to realease this and its worst than windows ME, waste of cash reallly.

As it is said in your intial post that your template is loosely based on Isohunt.com, if you had noticed there is a shoutbox where ppl are just making requests or asking for things...
is it possible o get that shoutbox integrated in the template i mean its a really cool thing
i am not sure if its a shoutbox or a sms box w.e its called but its pretty cool where ppl just write and click add.

well i kinda figured that out so i simply just do http://whatever.mine.nu:5800 and it takes me to the Java based viewer.

at the moment i have the following configurations
Pentium Dual core 2.66ghz OCed to 3ghz
Asus P5LD2 motherboard
1gb ram
and Asus 7300GS graphic card.
as you might have noticed that my graphic card sucks so i planned on upgrading it to Asus 8600GT but then it hit me that why dont i just upgrade the ram to 2gb also.
so i need your opinion if this above upgrade would let me play new game like shadowrun and CNC3 in full resolution of above normal resolutions?
and if this upgrade is worth it? please advice within 6 hours coz then i have to go Buy it with a friend.

well actually the thing is that VNC is a seperate server which can only be accessed by my IP address..so i go to dyndns.org to chk the current ip of my PC which than i can use to connect to the VNC.
the good thing is that i dont have to write the IP down on a peice of paper coz HFS has the ability to update my IP in dyndns.
however my idea or say what i need is that HFS function as VNC. which means instead of using Real VNC (http://www.real...com) i can simply leave my HFS server on and it will let me view my desktop and interact the PC like i was using VNC.
i am not very good with explaning things...sorry if your still dont understand i will ask a friend of mine to post for me later tonight

In my exp, HFS has been the best file server ever its fast convenient easy to use and not a memory hog. gd job.
if only VNC capibility can be added to this server i am currently using the Real VNC i am gonan post the link to it and i hope its no against the rules of forum for advertising other stuff.

this peice of software not only lets the a person from connecting with a client but it also hosts itself vide java in a browser it is super great.

Using Build 100 with the Thunder chicken template...
the following problems.
-HFS wont save the directory on exit (auto save option on exit is enabled)
-sometimes the server would automatically stop responding for a very long period of time and wont let me upload
-doesnt autostart with windows...(copied my HFs to c:/ and created a shortcut to my desktop, the start with windows options is enabled as well as Minimized)
my friends cant use Flashget somehow...(i have a passowrd on the root directory i.e if they want to access the page they must provide password before veiwing.
can someone help me out on this one thx.
Edit: offtopic, does anyone know a of a good software for power management of PC or even if such thing exists.. Apart from the windows default one.
