there's no problem in having several processes running, one per plugin?

magari prova a dare un'occhiata anche ai pacchetti inviati/ricevuti

guarda che se il proxy non controlla il protocollo utilizzato ma solo la porta, quella puoi GIA' settarla a 80, tanto il server icq accoglie connessioni su TUTTE le porte

&RQ could simply ignore events if you don't tell it to TRIGGER some action on it.
So, be sure that the "g.card" event triggers the actions you want.

check-betas is an option for check-updates function
if check-updates works, then check-betas works too
the protocol used by check-updates is http on port 80
it requests http://www.rejetto.com/&RQ/updateinfo.txt

i'm not surprised at all, plugin system has been snubbed for other features. i'll have a look at it since i know at least 4 of you who would like to test it.

i have no other experience about plugins other than this, and someone suggested me to use DDE technology.
i need your comments, since i'm unexperienced
