1.hfs need to be set to receive an IP from any IP not set to local Host IP

2. Reverse proxy need to send traffic to the machine address not the localhost (this is why you are seeing

Rejetto I have not found that to be the case, such as stunnel. The networking from stunnel is on the local Host and all connection are to and from the localhost. S tunnel logs the public ip. The work silent plz has done os to combine and see that log.

The same is still true with HFS in a reverse proxy situation as configuration by default. This is done to secure the connection with in the reverse proxy, that why jfs is seeing the connection as as machine traffic forwarded it to that.

OP will need to revisit his Apache configuration to setup his networking to allow HFS to see that data.

i have a the hfs server in the dmz zone. my hfs have a public ip address. when the user downloads file from the my hfs server in log it displays ip how i can receive public ip address of  the user? the format of log is in the apache format %u %f "%r" %>s %b

Sounds like you're using a patch she has reverse proxy. Because it's reverse proxy you'll always see the traffic coming on your local Host Network. Because that's what a proxy does. In that case you need to look into the logging on Apache when they first hit your Apache website that does the reverse proxy.

Otherwise you need a port forward your HFS to the public and use HFS as your main website.

See Apache docs:

Current sources to compile

I may need to relook into the lib and sources to compile the current revision.
At the time of this writing, as i have been distant on the form.

Per Rejeto HFS "fork me on GitHub Sources:

I have found this to be done with Delphi / Free Pascal - C+ coding:
(My Google Drive has file still available, I can only assume multiple geo access to the US Google drive has forced drive to change or disable my account from time to time.)

You can use HFS (HTTP File Server) to send and receive files. It's different from classic file sharing because it uses web technology. It also differs from classic web servers because it's very easy to use and runs "right out-of-the box".

The virtual file system will allow you to easily share even one single file.

back then play on linux and exo gear were the x86 emulation layer.

HTML & templates / thoughts? python joining the html code side
« on: July 07, 2020, 09:48:55 AM »
my thoughts are interested as I will begin a new test with his js and python:

Basically someone coded a python runtime in Javascript

No installation is required for Brython. Just import the script inside <head> :
<script type=”text/javascript” src=”">
Running Brython
In order for Brython to convert and evaluate the Python code as if it were normal JS, we need to call brython right when the document’s body loads, like so:
<body onload=”brython()”>

Might be a new way to run php

wine code breaks area and others keep changing the wine code, there are too many installation methods and a bunch of libs between release, so their is no default wine installation.

HFS3 and rejeto had sources for a per attempt with linux php , but i have lost that thread and base code. That project is still in alpha, and was never completed nor worked on. I here it was stoped.

If using linux, i higly recomend ubuntu and  "LAMP"
what made HFS unique is how it was a file upload server:

I Personaly like to use Build Ubuntu Mate, with is Debian baase, Leo i hear like to use Retro Arch (if memroy serves, its RPM based.)

i made a wine installing page before, but parts of it are Right now, and the others parts no longer exist to due code changes and updates.

its not a clear search for this thread, but this was my latest instruction:

HFS ~ HTTP File Server / Re: Help with Hardware Selection - New NAS
« on: April 08, 2020, 12:17:23 PM »
Nas are hard drive component with noc attached, ATM hfs requires a win32 environment to run, Nas of lucky will have a Barr min Linux running ftp/samba server.

So no I know of no hardware stand alone Nas that runs hfs

You have to have a derivate machine with mutiple harddrove to accomplish this.

I agree with Danny that multiple USB passport hd would be capable
Wd cloud has some good resource.

Bug reports / Re: hfs.exe 2.3 crashes multiple times a day
« on: April 08, 2020, 12:14:02 PM »

First off let me say I love hfs and thank you for making such a great piece of software.

I have been running 2 serves with hfs on Windows 7 (64 bit) for quite a while with very few issues.  I have been on 2.3k for a bit and the process would crash once in a while, but it was not terribly inconvenient.  However, beginning March 24, 2020 the process has been crashing every day, sometimes multiple times a day, on both servers.  I upgraded to 2.3m on Friday but the problem persists.  I attached a screenshot that shows all the crashes on one of the servers - 1 in 2017, 4 in 2018 (3 on the same day), 1 in all of 2019, and then since March 24 there have been 9 crashes.  The other server shows a similar pattern.  The errors are either:

Faulting application name: hfs.exe, version:, time stamp: 0x2a425e19
Faulting module name: ntdll.dll, version: 6.1.7601.23915, time stamp: 0x59b94a16

The fault offset and time stamp are different each time, but it's always one of these 2 processes that fails and always exception code 0xc0000005

First ntdll is a Windows system component and sounds like a component stroke issue

I recommend running CMD as administrator
Sfc /scannow
DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /CheckHealth
DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /restoreHealth
Sfc /scannow

This also seems like a antivirus program stoping a http session
Looks like McAfee or Norton endpoint?

Either way I don't believe hfs is the culprit it is the is and setting you have set trying to over secure a machine.

HTML & templates / Re: Live 3 Template With NewFolder, Rename etc
« on: March 17, 2020, 11:44:00 PM »
some our from my old works, gogle and there infinte server changes and security keeps removing my link sharing access:

i believe you want this file:

most likely:
hfs menu > change file > live 3.0 template

*its old, not my original work, and some quick macro copy and paste form 2 to 3 got it working.

Not sure if hfs 2.3m or latest still works with this template.
i recommend any form here for others works and master of the hfs macro code

or any of the other master of html / javascrpit codes such as DJ, Danny, and Leo

heed the advice of The creator Rejeto, and Silent plz/Mars some of the best from users and programers here.

havent been doing very well, while i check in and post form time to time. Life has been geting in the way, and this is a saddly a hooby of mine to help and share this wonderful program. :/

if something is not working, sadly your on your own. I highly recomend an active evolving template with support suchas the throwback template:
