dont know how to explain this , but i'll try.

me : user A
the one copying my links : user B
some one just surfing the web : user C

____________________________________________________
user A has a hfs page with stuff on it.

user B go there and copy some downloadlinks and put on his own web page.

user C visits user B's page and klick download links , but the links points to my page.
user C probebly never notice that he is infact downloading from user A (me)

now to my question.
is there a way to prevent user C to directly download files from me visiting user B's page.

i want it to be like this.
user C clicks on user B's links user C is redirected to my "index page" instead of just downloading the file.

hope you understand what i meen.

That's called hotlinking or leeching.

I have not used HFS in a very long time, but you would need to check the HTTP referer of their browsers and block the download if the referer is either empty (blocked) or does not originate from your page.

Anybody knowing how to do it? Please respond! :P

menu > limits > allowed referer

there you write the address of websites allowed to link your files. Ensure to include just your own address :)
