You should be able to access your HFS server locally or remotely when the server is working correctly and the port is not blocked by Charter.

No. This behavior is browser-wise and it's not possible to cause just any browser to pop up Windows Media Player.
You could however make a HTML and try the <embed> tag on your files.

Nice template. But it seems that "Now You Viewing:/" is very transparent due to the background you are using. Maybe consider changing text color?

You will have to forward the port in your router before you could start using HFS under a network. If you do not have admin access to the router, you will not be able to use HFS under a network. If you have forwarded the port and it does not work, (Don't try the link yourself, send it to someone else.) then your provider might not be allowing servers on the connection you are using.

You could have the uncompleted uploads deleted instead.
Right now you have no ways to resume an uncompleted download so partial uploads are useless.

No. FrontPage would ruin the HFS format. Please use a plain-text editor that does not add extra code such as Notepad.
