Hi

When I connect to my site (server) and enter the upload directory and login in from there,
when I return to the root, I'm not logged in. I am only logged in when in the upload directory!

Now if I go to login in from the root through the menu, it logs me in immediately upon clicking login from the menu.

One other little bug; when flattening the file listing ("file list"), the server favicon reverts to the icon in the HFS executable.

*Edit: This is a subdirectory related occurrence. It doesn't just happen with the upload folder. Not really a bug I think, just more
of a side effect.

HTML & templates / How To Change Default Folder Icon For ALL Folders
« on: August 01, 2009, 11:20:09 AM »
Hi

Does anyone know how to change the default folder icon? I don't want to use the system folder icon. I'd like to change it to a custom icon or preferably PNG.

I know you can change each folder individually, but I want to change the default that applies to all other folders.

I know that HFS outputs ~img_folder into the HTML it generates, but I haven't figured out how to change it in the newest build.

In the old script it was as easy as:

<td><a href="%item-url%"> %new% <img align="top" src="/Folder.ico" border="0" alt="">&nbsp;&nbsp;<b>%item-name%</b></a></td>

Thanks for any info!

HTML & templates / Changing the "NEW" to an image file???
« on: July 16, 2007, 12:24:00 PM »
Does anyone know how to use an image file in place of the default "New" that HFS uses?

I can put an icon there, but I want to use a GIF without having to add a static link.

HFS ~ HTTP File Server / Request: Add Folder Icons From Folder.ico File
« on: January 03, 2007, 05:45:43 PM »
It would be nice if HFS would show custom icons for folders by checking the folder for a hidden icon file. Maybe an option to set name of the .ico file to look for or just use any icon file with the hidden attribute set (or just have HFS check the path in the desktop.ini). I would prefer "Folder.ico", much like album cover applications look for "Folder.jpg".

Also, if you could please add "Folder" to the Icon Masks so the default folder icon can be modified just as easily as mime types.

As you can see in the attachment, the plain blue folders are default system icons. The ones with the check and cone are custom folders using hidden icons hidden in each directory (thus to keep them portable). This is important as each icon represents the status of those folders, either complete or in progress for example.

Thanks for the amazing program and your many hundreds of hours of work.
