HFS ~ HTTP File Server / Re: Remove "Your files" from Page
« on: May 10, 2023, 12:36:49 PM »
if anything shows up, it is supposed in the html template, or otherwise in the "diff template" inside the virtual file system, or in case of real folders inside "hfs.diff.tpl"

there is no "your files" in HFS default template, i checked 2.3 and 2.4

if you have a character that's not working, and are using 2.3, you can try 2.4
https://rejetto.com/forum/index.php?topic=13060.0

but my suggestion is to try hfs 3, that soon will be the official one

HFS ~ HTTP File Server / Re: jquery taking 2 seconds to load
« on: April 19, 2023, 08:22:26 PM »
it's not normal, of course.
i was trying to reproduce this with 2.4, forgetting that it's not using jquery anymore :D
i tried with 2.3i + Microsoft Edge and the waiting is 7ms, so no problem.
i don't have firefox on that computer to try, sorry.
I'm now on a mac, and using HFS 3, it doesn't use jquery as well.

just save to file, so you can access it easily?

in the registry the path is Software\rejetto\HFS

Did you consider also HFS 3 ?

in the save options menu you can decide WHERE to store options.
By default it saves to Windows Registry.
TPL and VFS are in separated files that you already have found.

but you said it used to work, so, what changed? Maybe you changed mime configuration in HFS ?
if you didn't change anything, then it's probably the browser extension that got updated. Maybe it stopped supporting some cases. (I don't have that installed)
Anyway, Chrome opens pdf without any extension. It works fine here.

and what HFS version are you using?

I'm not willing to work on it anymore, but I won't stop anybody from doing it on my place. It's open source.

Because I forgot to delete ALSO the sources.
I've found some bugs just after publishing, and decided to retire those versions.
Sorry guys

HTML & templates / Re: question

THIS is the standalone build.
the build includes node.js internally. I don't know a different way.
you want it to be compatible with win7, but this requires node.js version to be 13.
I'm using node 16.
It means someone should work on making HFS compatible with node 13.
Latest version is 19.

what is pfp? profile picture?
