i know that i should search but i did and i didnt find anything similar

the problem is:
i can`t make HFS work on port 80 :(

i make it work on any port but not on port 80
anybody know why???

plz help :(

P.S.
i did forward it on router

If you can get hfs to work externally on any port besides port 80 chances are your isp is blocking that port and there is not much you can do about it.

There is not much you can do if it is your isp blocking it. You might have to upgrade the plan you have with them, you might not be able to do a thing. I suggest having a look on your isp's website about it. I also suggest looking in the terms and conditions you agreed to when signing up because it might say something about running a server.

they sell it with static IP

i use port 81 as my router wont let me use port 80 also

Some dynamic DNS providers offer a function to redirect to a different port, so you can have a portless URL that automatically redirects you to a non-standard port.

It's always worked fine here when setup correctly, just make sure your using Port Forwarding, I use a Linksys WRT54G[v6] running
Firmware: DD-WRT v24 RC-5 (11/22/07) micro, which provides for Port Forwarding, Port Range Forwarding, Port Triggering.
