After using HFS and Themes for a long time now, along with HFS and Theme upgrades, I started the computer earlier today, and can no longer use any theme except default.  The only thing that shows up when using themes is the words.

Thank you any and all for any and all assistance you may have...

you (or something else) moved or removed the "template" folder from the virtual file system.
that's it.

Thank you for the quick reply.
That is why I rebuilt the file system, the Italicized template folder is there, but I get nothing.  :(  Maybe a re-install?

ok, it's in the virtual file system, so (since it is not working) it is NOT on your hard disk.
hover the mouse over "template" to see where it is supposed to be, and you'll find it is not actually there.

I see what you mean, how do I get it back off of virtual system.  It was not there before.

you mean that "virtual file system" on the left over the "home"?
it was always there.
that's totally normal.

Well, thank you for your support.
I attempted to load my saved file system, and it pops up an error of file system corrupted, so I guess I will just rebuild it.

Thank you again.

Hi,

I'm having the same issue with all the templates i try. Here's a screenshot:

img6.imageshack.us/img6/1148/screenshotl.jpg

What i do is i put all the files from the template in the same folder where HFS is located.
Next i drag the template folder to HFS and set is as a virtual folder then hide it.
I load up the Edit HTML Template option and import the tpl file. Next i apply and save and still
the result is what you see above.

Any ideas?

Get the latest beta, put the .tpl and 'template' folder beside hfs.exe.

Go to Menu > HTML Template > Change File > select the .tpl file and it should now auto install.

hi raf,
your problem is totally different than the one discussed in this topic.

1. you must use hfs 2.3 (not 2.2)

2. ensure this is enabled: "menu -> html template -> enable macros"

more: you installed the template manually, but newer templates can be installed by just drag&dropping the template file on HFS window.

put the .tpl and 'template' folder beside hfs.exe.

this is not actually needed
