maybe this is a good option, feature??

hfs.comment.txt aka descript.ion

i have most comments made with totalcommander.
would be extra work to convert then to hfs.comment.txt
and double work .... 8O

thus just an idea..... :idea: :?:

Maybe you should make the filename configurable. There are other filenames as well:

0index.txt
file_id.diz
dirinfo

etc.

it's not a matter of filename
the format is different

how about comment for Folders :?:

i know the option "comment" in hfs.

now i have a comment on a real folder, with the option comment,
maybe this would also be possible with a "hfs.comment.txt" :?:

it is the same as for files... thus, the comment file must lie in the parent folder
