I've set up HFS and use no-ip as a free domain.  I can access HFS locally thru local ip 192.168.x.x, but I can't access thru no-ip address such as http://no-ip.info.  I can ping my no-ip domain successfully, and access my HFS via a remote proxy.  Is this normal?  I just want to access my HFS via no-ip domain address directly.

yes, it's normal.
It's a limit of your router (most routers, actually).

Loopback is default on most modern routers, at least on all routers I had last years.
But not on all routers apperently...  :-(
