The original image itself wont get changed, instead, the thumbnails and previews generated from the pictures are stored in the (hidden) previews_and_thumbnails folder. If you add the folder where your image is in as real folder to HFS, it should automatically display small thumbnails if you use one of our templates.

in terayon, we define every extension where an image is available for like this:

[file.jpg = file.bmp = file.png = file.exe = file.zip = file.rar etc etc etc]
then, we use %item-ext% to extract the extension and call the right image in the icon folder

for all the other files where we dont have an extension for, you can use the default file icon or the hfs ones. W/e you want.

what thumbnail format is more appropriate for the rawr template? since the thumbnail creator doesnt ahve an option for rawr.

ToG is the best option to select, as both templates are designed to work with 50x50px thumbnails.

I do however miss the dedicated login page. is it possible to get a DIFF Template code for hte root so I can paste it in there?

The dedicated login page is very buggy, i believe this was the main reason for not including it..

also.. how would I fix the ICON links for URLs to open in a new window like the text link and the arrow link?

You can already do that

Simply modify the <a href=""> tag inside the template so that it uses the ftp:// protocol

ftp://%encoded-folder%%item-name%

is the shoutbox in an iframe?
if yes, you can workaround this problem by having an intermediate page between the submit and the displaying of messages.

submit -> message accepted, immediate redirect -> display messages

so you have 2 moves, and the post data is only in the first move, while the refresh is only about the second (harmless)

Purge the post data, i told him that before the poor guy just doesnt listen

in php you use header("Location: blabla"); for this, can you set the header tags using macro's aswell?

The Terayon... I dunno, That's up to Richard.

Hmm.. I'm quite happy with Terayon v1.3, there are some bugs tho but they aren't vital. Anyway, im currently working on the TPGEN 3.0 which consumes most of my spare time. After that has been settled, i'll iron out the known bugs in Terayon and call it a final version.

- How do I allow someone to upload to my server?
In order for someone to be able to upload to your HFS server, you must first create a "real folder" in the HFS file system. To do this, simply drag a folder from Explorer and release it into the HFS window. A prompt asks whether you want the folder to be Virtual or Real. Click Real folder. After the folder is created (red icon), you can set password permissions by right-clicking the folder, and choosing the Upload submenu.

As far as i know, chinese characters should be supported. So try to remove the + character in the folder name, report back if that works

First of all.. Your CPU, mobo and memory is not the most important thing to look at when it comes down to internet speeds.

Second, your 6gb/385k statement is vague. But assuming your friend has the same connection but is still able to upload at around 250k and you are not, makes me think that you are doing something else that consumes upload speeds (p2p, torrents).

What you could do aswell, is disable your firewall and virus scanner while uploading a file to your friend. See if this makes any difference.

Sorry, this is not possible. Not using the preview box we use in all the templates. The web version of the windows media player can not be dynamically removed from the page, if you do try this, it will result in a browser-crash.

WMA could only work if you spawn a new player for every file, this idea has been abandoned for a long time aswell because it consumes a very high amount of CPU and RAM on the client-side. This aswell will result in a browser-crash if you have a lot of WMA files in one folder.

Link your iframe to http://10.255.243.169:8081/~stats.htm, just make sure you use the same or partially the same CSS file as the one that rawr-template uses (so that the <span>'s float to the right)

ok here is what i get now, all files in one line:

Advanced Filelist

This list comes packed with Terayon v1.3.0.8 and ToG v3.0.0, but has display problems in HFS #177 and up. Therefor:



It will work with most (if not all) templates. To install it, simply place this file next to where hfs.exe is located on your hard-drive. HFS will automatically detect the file and use it.
