How can I display japanese char. in HFS

I am using Traditional Chinese Windows XP

but I find that that Japanese char. will change into "??" in HFS

So please me how to display japanese char.

(I dont want to rename the files & folders)

eg .
ブルー

???

太鼓の達人 とびっきり! アニメスペシャル (動畫特別版)

太鼓?達人 ?????! ???????? (動畫特別版)

Change the charset of the template meta to gb2312 or big5. Should work to show strings in traditional chinese...

For japanese... shift-jis.. is the only most common one i can find. Maybe UTF-8 would work...

Some chinese characters belongs to a different codepage, and thus they are actually saved in unicode on your disk.
HFS doesn't have full unicode support yet.

I search the forum and got no information on this, thanks for taking me to the right place.
Is it so hard to make HFS Unicode compatible?
Unicode solve all the weird character problem across the world, IMO it's quite a priority.
