This is exactly the simple way to do it. Just one thing - you forgot to enable this feature/menu when you right click on the "root"/home of VFS...

I suggest to treat/give the top "root"-"home"-"/" all the capabilities as if it was a simple folder, including - the abilliy to edit/rename it. You can still display "/" symbol when you browse the VFS if it is "hidden". What do you think ?
