« on: November 03, 2003, 02:59:05 AM »
I wonder if the builds will also fix the AV bug in 1.5e :P

HFS ~ HTTP File Server / Will not load GUI!

This bug also happens to me when the "AV Bug" occurs in 1.5e.
The GUI won't load if it couldn't find the VFS that is previously opened.

FlashGet resumes with HFS, no problems at all!

HFS ~ HTTP File Server / A question
« on: November 03, 2003, 01:36:23 AM »
You will need to "port forward" that port into your HFS.
Once done, get the external IP and you will be able to use HFS normally.

If you could not get access to the computer / router linked to the external Internet, you won't be able to share files using HFS outside your LAN.

HFS ~ HTTP File Server / Upload?
« on: November 03, 2003, 01:17:45 AM »
If you look in threads in this forum, you will see that the upload feature will be supported in version 2.0 which is going to be released in Late Nov. I hope! :)
WebDAV is surely nice, but I am not sure if it will appear in v2.

rejetto, are you able to reproduce this bug?

HFS ~ HTTP File Server / HFS Crashes?
« on: October 31, 2003, 01:12:12 AM »
After my testing, it seems that the crash is coming from HFS.ini "recent=" line.
For example:
If the line were filled with "C:\HFS\VFS.vfs" (w/o the quotes)
then HFS will not serve pages + it will cause AVs when you try to close it.
Clearing this line will remove this crash and HFS will work normally.
But right after you close it again, HFS will write that value back into the INI file therefore HFS will froze+crash again after you reopen it.
Good Luck fixing the bug! :)

Yea, maybe :)
But still you got to add features somehow... The problem is: when?
Maybe there will be a beta for 2.0 in late Nov? rejetto?

But the (reverse) filter option - does hide the content (see my note above)
I think having a option to "hide tree" is better than playing with filters :D
And BTW, if there's a file called no_name in the folder, it will be shown anyways. :P
Thanks NeWayz Rafi! :)
