How ban a hole country to download files  with use HFS ~ HTTP File Server
I have a google bot and crawl ip
what  i need to now how to ban a hole country by ip
for example 66.249.76.142 that ip
from usa can i ban 66.249 so that is no way download or see server join server
this way or what is possible rateher annyong have that ip download 24/7 everyting new uploads

Hostname:   crawl-66-249-76-142.googlebot.com it really download all files if it is google i not like goggle now

http://whatismyipaddress.com/ip/66.249.76.142 that adress chance ports every secons so fast i ban it is there agin with another adress

that user hade download 20 TB self since i start up server
im out of ideas how stop this

ok i did edit template so now it is possible to just download 1 file per ip not a comlete folder was easy to edit chance it i am a not good on html but that works now so no more leeching i figure out how i can switch between templates when i upload things also edit in to show speed and % for some reason i edit is too good so i could just upload 1 file at a time lol ..

Hello build 284 is the only version that not crash now because hfs take too much cpu 

I have i Q how can i edit hfs so it is impossible that people can download Archive i set server so they have 1 ip per user only much because server have 40-100 at same time 24/7 and download server just reached 35 TB upload over 3 month but many people try use archive and download all 600 GB in 1 tar file because off his 1 ip limit.

Can i take that away so people NOT can add hole folders or files and download as one tar file ?
some edititing   in hfs.tpl ?

Hello i intalled 283 and it works great last week  less crashes that was on earlier vesrio because of the exe take to much cpu over 50 % it crash
what i have done because exe crash to often was that i set one ip max for every download that maked the download server to work better

One Q is the upload speed that takes much CPU on teh exe ?  or is it when many people use Search function in the program ?
and how to uppgrade so cpu not takes so much % more ram memory or a better cpu ?

It is still not much traffic around 1.5 TB per week and is it some place i can set MAX ip let say 50 ip invidual ip offcourse ?

I wanna show what i upload on main site but not now to edit template .
I see in hfs.comments in A-F folder it is listed like this latest upload is last in the list

yes in root folder or under folders to HOME under same folder select file by file that you wanna have then it say items 2 now you can click archive HFS say are you sure ? you klick ok then it download a TAR file that is named what the folder name was when it is download open TAR file with winrar or winzip and inside is the files you downloaded

OK
How to fix so the server pc not take so much CPU power ?
The server pc cpu peak up on the max 100% when it get over 100 connections.
I notice that it also take much cpu when people do search and go around in folders.
The problem i got is that the hfs279.exe*32 in taskmanager suddenly reach 100 % and the program hang and need a restart.
It peak up also when new people connect.
Is that normal and if so does it exist another program that not take so much cpu to share files from my server pc ?

Ok it was prb with mozilla firefox IE 8 works really wierd but what to do instaed of struggle i can upload with IE 8 then no request or count up idle happends now so when i klick upload it start direct

Today my 279 get problems suddenly when i test upload it not wanna work jpg or small files is uploaded but bigger files the server get "requesting" then it stand there not start upload ??
i delete and start up a new same thing is ist anywhere i can edit before i add 33 rar files and up to 3 GB and when hit upload it start direct upload now it say in progness then on server it just say that requesting thing
i test 2.2 same story wierd i have use 279 since it came out so im lost why it struggle now it is like it count how long the gb shall take to upload then after 15 minutes it start upload i must have edit something wrong in settings simrace games files only i share http://rfactor.no-ip.info:100/

i see requesting and then my ip and my ip again and it count up idle 126 ,127 and so on now it looks like it refuse me to upload ... ..
