downloading behavior ?

noticed when I set, either :
-"speed limit for a single adress"
-"max download from a single adress"
-"max conn. from a single adress"

After stabilizing, download goes full speed one file after the other and so forth (same Ip dl twice . see att.)
normal behavior ? ... unsual "strain" ? ... or bad option ? ['cause HFS does anyway generates not served : 503 overload for other users  v.#177]

you'd like to see 50+50 every second.
you get 100 this second, 100 the next second.
the http pump gives all it can give. Leaving unused bandwidth for other connections is a risk: who knows if other connections will next second be able to make use of such unused bandwidth? (and it would also be more complex)

So it's normal.
Then I'll check tomorrow with a friend all the options I mentionned above + the "speed limit" one to see how the his browser behave with "not served : 503 overload " i.e display pblm .. icones, n sort, etc.
I guess the true solution would be "IP speed limit" [in the do-to-list]  - and even more usefull  "speed limit per user account" due to dynamic ip ? What do U think ?

Edit : bloody hell  ... I remember now having asked for "Ip speed limit" to stop friends downloading from work place too . But shit this is old stuff
