HFS ~ HTTP File Server / [solved] Used to work ... not anymore
« on: May 16, 2008, 10:25:09 AM »

This syntax for diff. temp calls used to work #180

{{load | ip... /Repository%20diff%20tpl/Appel%20tpl%20par%20macro%20page%20Jukebox.tpl}}

Not anymore, with the latest beta it just displays the macro [went back to test earlier # 'til # 180 just to check]

Something must have changed in between and can't find it.
need to be put into the right track ..Thanks

HFS ~ HTTP File Server / Request
« on: March 12, 2008, 04:17:52 PM »

Rejetto [in particular] would U mind considering these NEW fonctions soon ?

- [feature] "upload fails if there's more than X megabytes in this folder". (i.e security)
- [feature] "option to display counter for folders as number of accesses instead of total access to files in it" (i.e image gallery)
- [feature] "keeping the date of the last "access" to a file/folder" (i.e links)

Merci Rejetto

HFS ~ HTTP File Server / Ability to sort ?
« on: February 14, 2008, 10:01:49 AM »
Hello to U all,

This might not be as tedious as to read recent posts about "macros" and "Rawr"    ;D ... it's a simple question, mainly about how to get a user friendly interface.

Is it possible to sort different folders - for example by "name", by "hits", "dates" ... and keeping these folders showing their specific sorting ways to connected users ?

Another way around : does "sort" is : "a one size fits all" ?

HFS ~ HTTP File Server / downloading behavior ?
« on: January 26, 2008, 05:10:01 AM »
noticed when I set, either :
-"speed limit for a single adress"
-"max download from a single adress"
-"max conn. from a single adress"

After stabilizing, download goes full speed one file after the other and so forth (same Ip dl twice . see att.)
normal behavior ? ... unsual "strain" ? ... or bad option ? ['cause HFS does anyway generates not served : 503 overload for other users  v.#177]

Sometimes life gives U these little gifts  ;D

My use of HFS all started here Topic MP3 streaming about interacting J River Media Center with HFS  :P
A year and 1/2 later got a mail from Jim River & staff announcing part of the Media Center the "The Media Jukebox" going free !

So get your opinion and research going, if U want to try

router & port problems / Has anyone tried IPV6 ?
« on: December 26, 2007, 12:24:28 PM »
[moved from "anything else"]

Salut !

My ISP offers me to set up my PC with IPV6.
Thus so far I've checked with my "no-ip" name and it should handle it, and then HFS is ready to go on multiple instances (I don't hnow yet which new template to choose from)

Do you have any comments, suggestions, ideas ... should i go for it or should i stay  Wink

HTML & templates / [Closed] button form on Iframe ?
« on: November 30, 2007, 12:22:58 PM »
salut à nouveau,

There no way around .. I have to have one Iframe link to a proxy.

I wish I could just present just a "button form"  which would open the Iframe, would be somehow more elegant  on the page; then users would drag/drop the Hfs links (that part works fine).

Many thanks for help

HFS ~ HTTP File Server / "date" display for url links ?
« on: November 24, 2007, 08:47:49 AM »
Salut à tous !

I’m wondering if it's  possible to show « date » within a link display. Right now, I’m doing it the way below.

I really think that would be helpfull as sometimes users/admin. have to remember “day one” when these files are hosted on an external server.

What do U think ?

HTML & templates / Display only ?
« on: November 10, 2007, 02:36:55 PM »
Salut tout le monde,

I’m using an external call to Irfanview (Xtml Plugin) in order to display photos boards with tech. data from pictures taken or doing diaporamas.
So in Hfs I do this way : jpeg/thumbnails (hidden real folders) and html are displayed as in fig. 1
When Browsing in Hfs it gives fig.2
I found out while using the search function I was able to display only *.html files when browsing fig.3

Would I be able to do the same [like file/folder or default file mask] without the “search” function ... directly when browsing ?

Something similar to “display only” ?

Français / [closed] Gestion Rupture de Pages
« on: October 08, 2007, 06:52:02 PM »
'soir mars,

Ton avis ?
merci à toi

HTML & templates / [CLOSED] Limitation with mp3 flash player per page?
« on: October 08, 2007, 03:04:17 PM »
Hello to u all !

Did anyone notice a tolerance of max. file number [15 exactly and not one more] when browser collapsing ? (tried FF&Opera]

- At the 16st mp3 file in one page,  the mp3 flash player just stops and restarts when page is expanded again. The code in my template is underneath.

Code: [Select]

<tr class="mout" href="%item-url%">
    <td width="16px">%comment%</td>
    <td><a href="%item-url%"> %new% <img align="top" src="/~img_file" border="0" alt="">&nbsp;&nbsp;<b>%item-name%</b></a></td>
<td align=right>
<object classid="clsid:d27cdb6e-ae6d-11cf-96b8-444553540000" width="200" height="20" id="mp3player"
    codebase=",0,0,0" >
  <param name="movie" value="http://%host%/mp3player.swf" />
<param name="flashvars" value="config=" />
  <embed src="http://%host%/mp3player.swf" width="200" height="20" name="mp3player"
    type="application/x-shockwave-flash" pluginspage="" />

That's would be cool to know the reason why - I'm tired of spliting my lists of "singles".

Edit : as anyone worked out how to implement "go to next page" yet ?
