You know, upload speed is often a very limited resource.
I wanted to limit bandwidth used by HFS in upload, to leave something for remote administration.
BUT this limits should not apply to LAN usage, where i want maximum speed instead.
So... on my HFS version 2.3 i clicked on "edit event scripts" and typed this stuff
[download]
{.if not|{.match address|192.168.*;10.*|%ip%.}
|{.set speed limit for connection|20.}
.}
I hope you like it
for those of you who want details about it, the meaning is:
if the ip address of the browser is not a LAN address (that normally starts by of the kind 192.168 or 10) than limit the speed to 20 KB/s.
it's even more cool that it doesn't affect browsing of files but only when you download them.
