I know this isn't exactly a place to look for PHP developers... but if anyone would like to help out with testing the next FHFS I would hugely appreciate it.  Just message me.

The project started in March/April of 2013 and it's nearing 90% completion.

Oh!, I would love to help you, but I don't know PHP. I just hope you don't drop support for Windows XP SP3 like anyone seems to do nowadays. And I would like to see just one more update to FHFS 2.1.x, before you start with a brand new code in FHFS 3.x. For example, updating OpenSSL to fix the Heartbleed Bug, and some minor fixes you find in this thread here.
I hope it's not too late for that. :)
Greetings!
Leo.

I'll definitely keep releasing patches of FHFS as they're absolutely necessary, and yeah the heartbleed bug qualifies as such.

Anyway, the new program isn't called FHFS, it's called 'Andromeda'.  It runs on PHP and Apache meaning no FTP support.  It was also basically a complete rewrite so I felt a new name would be more fitting.  You don't have to know PHP, just willing to test stuff :)  Although it uses some pretty complex cryptography meaning it requires PHP 5.5 or higher, which they compile with Visual C++ 11 so it doesn't run on XP :(  Someone probably could compile it with VC9 if they were that desperate.

Just in case anybody cares, here's the current story.   FHFS was in active development in 2011 and 2012, and the second half of 2013.  In April 2013 I started a new project that was meant to replace FHFS, and by August 2014 it was mostly done.  It was then used in a production environment from August 2014 - January 2015, then the site was retired.  I never released it because it was never quite finished on the admin side and it had a single fatal design flaw that resulted in me rewriting a lot of it in February 2015, but that fell by the wayside.  Since then, I have not worked on FHFS or Andromeda or any related project.  I may or may not start an Andromeda 2.0, but as for now, consider both FHFS and Andromeda to be dead projects.

HFS and Owncloud are nice choices at the moment  :)

:) Don't worry, you (and of course Rejetto, with his HFS) did a great work. You should be more than proud. FHFS even without the FTP feature, it's superb because all the admin templates it has. And I agree, HFS and OwnCloud and both very good (but I personally like HFS more, because it's easier to setup and maintain).
