Sorry to ask a simple / stupid question.

I have been using HFS for a long time (build 282) with RAWR template 0.1.3.

If I upgrade to latest version of 2.3 or 2.3a will it change to the new template or will it continue to use RAWR template?

Ideally I would like to upgrade, still using RAWR template, then try new template when happy with everything else.

TIA

Running HFS on Windows 8.1.
When HFS starts, it does not load the default HFS.VFS file.
I have to manually load it. HFS will then show and use the saved file system, but accounts are not loaded either. I have to manually enable them through the properties function.
Ideas please.
regards,

(Run hfs as asministrator firs!)

I will check this on my win 8.1 tablet, but you can try to add hfs to the startup folder
(after opening setting it up save vfs close and reopen...test it first)

try saving you vfs to the registry

move you save or backup ed vfs to a different save area ie your saving to an area that hfs may not have direct access to read/write and try to save it to you my documents folder...as an example

(redownload hfs try it in another folder still experiencing same issues?)

Good luck, using this version on windows 8 (testing...) curently (haven't upgrade to service pack 8.1)

that is something to do with permissions, or with the "working folder", a concept of the operating system that basically means "default directory for data".
If you have a link to the program, ensure the configured working folder is the same where your files are.
