I dont fully understand the custom IP address thing

What is this selection for? Is it a redirect or something? I see that you can just make any ip address in it, and it displays it on the top of the address bar, but i dont understand what its purpose is. If this has been asked/answered before, accept my appology for re-asking, and point me to the answer. thank you guys

I think this is only to pypass errors/bugs in auto-detecting your real/external IP.

That's an old outdated guide which doesn't explain a lot of things any more. It's almost a year old.

I thought when you were talking about a guide it was an updated guide that included information for the HFS v2 beta series of features which we can use as guide in beta testing this product for you.
