Bug reports / hfs 2.3 to 2.4 and back to 2.3 again

ok was testing out new version of hfs and i came across an issue if site has hfs on nd you revert from 2.4 back to 2.3  site refuses to load and says tried to many times 

i close browser totally and reopen site again a few hours later and it works again

 browser chrome latest

but using incognito works fine

i actually have  my file layout is   
i secure the login section to force the login
and i have a simple webpage as the root directory



url/login/private files


each line is the hierachy
/----myhtml.html
/-----Login -- folder has padlock on it to make user login
/---login-------- > your private files mormally red icon folder

i do have a html page on the front end too though that i have thrown up and works the charm thats why i have connection established also edited the login page too
i didnt feel like trying to remove the background on that theme

my official version for all to use has date and time on last reload and color scheme darkened
date and time of the machine on reload
 all aqua now  hover  over links is red

ive heavyilly modified my version from you with colorings etc could you give me the line the code is on thanks

all sorted and now it allows user to change password too when logged in too
also noticed the cookie does not dissapear and still shows logged in on my /login page

thanks ive tried to do it myself but i had issues it wirked but could not login and it showed 2 login screens and words server error message

user can not log off logout of page
need require a log out button

I want to create a whole drive for uploads eg G: as a uploads folder without creating another folder with called : upload

is other a way to set up as a uploads folder I don't want to say file name called music  games etc
