Everything else / Re: Buying a Zune, will arrive after Christmas
« on: November 27, 2007, 01:37:06 AM »
Checking out Opeth (heard some) I think apc is sort of weak compred to tool and also I dont listen to alot of their songs because they are blatantly defiant to christianity with songs like 'Judtih' but still some of it is good.

As far as czeck Anime, I got this nice little messsage:

Sorry, the free service is at full capacity.
I'll wait it out or try again tomorrow.

I laughed at what Foggy said unless he was serious, then I'm sad ;| Opeth, hmm..

Edit: Wow Rejetto you were right so far, all of it is fairly complex thus far, thanks.

HFS ~ HTTP File Server / Re: Download Speed Issue
« on: November 27, 2007, 12:23:32 AM »
Okay so you have 768 upload so you should be able to pull something like 120. (Its probably a little higher but lets set that as a value your trying to achieve).  What port are you running HFS on?

At this point its probably an ISP limitation but you might be able to get around it. run netstat -a and let us know of any connections you dont recognize, is it possible a p2p or torrent service is uploading on another box in your network or something along those lines?

Beta / Re: Testing build #146
« on: November 27, 2007, 12:20:33 AM »
I'm finally upgrading to 146 after 12 solid days of HFS running.  It finally died. (Clicked menu, nothing happened, no icon in tray etc)  I could still look around the VFS but I couldnt save and unfortunately I lost my custom modules in Terayon, turned on auto saving every 20 minutes now, i'm going to appreciate that feature now.

I bought a Zune online for 100.00 US (They normally go for 200 US or like 150 on ebay) and got a good deal.  But I have an ipod 2gb right now with about 180 songs and I'm too picky but I dont want to have a 30gb player with only 200 songs so I need some suggestions on good music.  I love rock, specifically progressive (bands like tool, a perfect circle, staind are a few).  You guys have some suggestions for me, i'm to picky so I'll listen to anything thats in english and give it a shot.

Instrumentals are fine.  What do you guys think?
I like stuff that doesnt talk about demons and darkness by the way :|

Great work with the flash cookie, that was what was holding me back from downloading it before.  This has potential to be widely used; sorry the search didnt work out but it was made at a bad time (because rejetto's was just days away)

Keep up the good work.
Be on more tomorrow, staying at someones place with dial up, yuck :X

HFS ~ HTTP File Server / Re: HFS under NSLU2 (Linux)
« on: November 22, 2007, 08:19:35 AM »
Rejetto will have to give you a formal answer, but no there is no HFS for native linux.  I'm pretty sure crossover is bigger than wine as well, but since it installs with a wizard you might be able to cut it down. I'm sure you can specify all but the core wine components in a config file before yum/emerge/whatevering.  How much space do you have to work with.

HFS is coded in Delphi by the way.

I'm pretty sure the libraries needed to compile it nativly under linux are avaliable but its going to take a bit of a rewrite.  Rejetto will be on soon to hopefully post exact libraries needed etc. and you can give it a go.

Bug reports / Re: Small Bug, Idle (invisible) connections
« on: November 22, 2007, 07:46:13 AM »
Sorry it took so long, been a hectic day
One other thing, The graph does not update.
I'm pretty sure restarting HFS would fix this but its been up for 7 days.  I guess uptime doesnt really matter though.

This looks like the problem: leave-disconnected-connections=yes -- but it corresponds to right clicking in the connections table and chosing leave disconnect connections, this just makes the blank spaces say 'disconnected'.

I'm not sure if this is after or before we talked but I'm still looking for it calling that folder only when you click an arrow instead of running a recursive search (45 seconds within lan:X) each time.

Its really nice that your working on this for everyone, I tested it with an insane amount of files and indeed it does work.  Downloading new one now.

@TSG, Thanks for sorting.  Usually after posting I go look at other post and don't realize that I've posted a few times in a row.

HFS ~ HTTP File Server / Re: Unfamiliar line in the logs
« on: November 21, 2007, 09:43:37 PM »
Good solution with the hosts file.. hopefully it looks familiar to a linux hosts.allow/deny.  This doesnt bother be regardless, I was just curious.

Also, it was not related to the invisible connections bug, it was just a copy+paste of the screenshot from the invisible connection bug post.

I have a question for you loosely related to this but I'll ask when I'm off work.
Thanks

RAWR-Designs / Re: Terayon v1.3.0 Beta 8
« on: November 21, 2007, 05:39:00 AM »
This looks like just a mistake with the template.  Terayon 1.2.1 had a 3 cell (horizontally) layout.  Terayon 1.3.0 Beta 8 only has two cells and the file attributes are at the bottom.  This looks like your using the contents of a 1.3.0 Beta 8 zip, but using it with an old .tpl file.  Get the newest TPL file via the Main Terayon post of this board and swap your TPL.

Heres some quick instructions on how to get it up and going once you have the right version of Terayon.

Grab the template folder from the zip/rar, copy it over to where you run HFS from.  The other files from the zip/rar go in their respective locations.

Drag the template folder into the root of your vfs (thats the '/') and then right click on it, chose Hide. (Right click again, chose Hide tree, right click again and uncheck browsable)  You may need to switch into expert mode to do this.
