Beta / Testing build #254 - 257 mime Problem
« on: March 01, 2010, 08:42:32 PM »
The last build I was using without problems was 253.

With all the problems reported in some of the newer builds I decided to hold-off until today and tried build 257.  I have a few problems to report and I checked back to when they started.  It was with 254.

I tested using both my template and the default template for 257:

1.  File name and Folder name font colors are wrong.  Both the File & Folder names are white (active & visited) in my custom template but now the active color is blue and visited is purple.   Your default template shows the blue and purple colors as well.

2.  All File name and Folder name links are underlined when they shouldn't be.  Active is blue and visited looks like black in both my custom template and your default template.  I don't use underlined links.

3.  File name and Folder name fonts are in bold in my custom template but aren't in bold when using these builds.

HFS ~ HTTP File Server / Need macro help
« on: November 17, 2009, 02:31:52 AM »
I have some external links at my site.  The problem I'm having is that when a user activates a link, the log doesn't log this activity and therefore I don't know if the links are being used.  I have not been successful in creating a macro that works for me.

What I would like to see in the log is an entry when a external link is activated with the name of the link used.

A perfect spot for this would be in hfs.events.

Can anyone help me out with this request?

HFS ~ HTTP File Server / diff template
« on: February 28, 2009, 05:10:05 PM »
using diff template with default template

I was noticing that whenever I used diff template the filelist for a directory didn't show proper enteries.

For example a diff template entry:
[file]
<tr><td class=row>%new% <a href="%item-url%"><img align=top src="/~img_file">&nbsp;%item-name%</a>%comment%<td align=center class=row><font color="#fff8dc">%item-size%</font><td align=center class=row><font color="#ffffff">%item-modified%</font><td align=center class=row>

With this diff template, the following occurs in a default template filelist ...
1. New tag doesn't show
2. Comment or descript.ion doesn't show
3. Filesize, Filetime & Hits columns are empty

The attachment below include all of the above but are missing.  Does the default template support diff template?

Build 226 and default template ...

New flag doesn't show in filelist but shows up correctly on a file search.  The error is in the default template.  No problems in my custom template.

Bug reports / DESCRIPT.ION is broken
« on: February 11, 2009, 09:23:18 AM »
DESCRIPT.ION is broken for builds 221 and 222

1. Support DESCRIPT.ION is enabled in the virtual file system
2. Sub-directories containing for example music and video files have valid DESCRIPT.ION files  (these are not empty files and they were never deleted remotely)
3. These DESCRIPT.ION files were properly displayed from beta build's 220 and before
4. Builds 221 and 222 are not reading the valid DESCRIPT.ION files

what's new
+ new template macros: account linked, move, copy, current downloads by user, disconnection reason

Of the new template macros shown above, can you give examples of how you would use move & copy?  Also where to put coding into template.

1. I would imagine the move would be to move file(s) from one folder to another
2. Copy to copy a file but it seems to me there should also be a paste otherwise what would you do with it after you copy it?  edit: I see - copy  file to new location but also keep original where it was.  :)

HFS ~ HTTP File Server / Macro request
« on: October 08, 2008, 08:45:13 AM »
In build 204 you introduced {.delete.}

Using the same format Is there any chance of adding {.cut.} and {.paste.} or maybe something else so we could move file(s) from one folder to another?

HFS ~ HTTP File Server / Tray Icons - Tray Message
« on: August 24, 2008, 02:04:44 PM »
rejetto,

Can you add %build% to the tray message option.  It would be very helpful when we are testing two different builds at the same time.  Right now only %version% is available which doesn't give enough information and we have to open the gui.

Thanks.

HTML & templates / Multi-Page Browsing
« on: July 20, 2008, 02:20:52 PM »
The following has been in the to-do list for a very long time:

+ multi-page browsing (N files/page)

I don't know what is involved or how much coding time it would take, but would it be possible to consider implementing it in a new beta?

Bug reports / Macro Bug??
« on: July 06, 2008, 09:26:45 AM »
I was using the following macro without any problems for some time.  Noticed with the latest beta 187 it is broken.  I'm not sure what beta it stopped working in.  Went back about 10 betas but could not find when it started.

Anyway, here is the macro.

{.if| %user |{: {.append| %folder-resource%\hfs.comments.txt |{.filename|%item-resource%.} = uploaded by %user%  IP - %ip%  Date - %date%  Time - %time%
/append.} :}/if.}

Were changes made to make this macro invalid?  Is there a workaround?
