RAWR-Designs / Re: Rawr Template 0.1.3 - Modules Mod Release
« on: August 23, 2010, 12:15:51 AM »
ummm i cant reproduce the problem, for me it all works :/
try to reload the template and replace the files there are 2 fixed bugs in the template and one in the module
maybe some of these did cause the problem :) if this doesnt work , can u send me the macros.log the i try if i find sth what causes the problem
Every-time I reload the template all is normal until I try to delete a file or folder and the above still happens..
Then I reload the template with in HFS again and everything is fine until I (you guest it) try to delete a file or folder..
Could this just be due to trying to test this with in the same homenetwork?..

When you say replace the files do you mean replace the files with in the template or with in the HFS's root?

Also Ill be more then happy to send the "macros.log" however being a N00b I could use some help to find where this log file is located with in HFS..

Sorry for the dumb questions but I would really like to have this working as it has everything I can think of at this time..

Havent tested your new module that you posted above this post as of yet though..
As I thought it wouldent be needed for the issue I have at hand..

Thanks again and great work,
Civic/Scootin

EDIT:
Even having an issue where the default system icons that are with in my server are no longer showing ither..
Even with in the VFS with in HFS I have the "USE SYSTEM ICONS" however there not showing..
All thats showing is the icons that where supplied within the temple

EDIT II:
Had my buddy who is an admin on my server to check out the new template and mod as well..
Sure enough he is having the same issue as I am so I know its not a local network issue..

HFS ~ HTTP File Server / URL's in comment tab?.. If so how?..
« on: August 22, 2010, 11:55:02 PM »
Ive been trying to figure out if its possible to link a video (via URL) with in the comment tab on a file..
Adding an "INSERT HYPERLINK" does not work as in [.url][/url.]......

Im doing this for a file that I would like a video pre-view linked to it..

Both the file and the video are already on my HFS tree however Im not sure how I can link the 2 or even just have a click-able url link showing with in the comments of the main file..
As stated I tryed to insert the hyperlink  command however that did not work with in the comments as it just shows the [.url][/url.]

Hope this makes sense - If not Ill be more than happy to try to clarify

Thanks in advance,
Civic/Scootin

NOTE:
Added the .with in [.url][/url.] on the above question on purpose just so it would show here with in this thread for the question.. Other wise it would have shown liked this: http://

Try this, your href was relative.

<link rel="shortcut icon" type="image/gif" href="/animated_favicon1.gif" />
Thanks for the help however the animated icon is still a no go on all other browsers but Firefox..

Hmm..
Im trully not sure what could be wrong..
Thanks anyways

Have an issue while trying to delete a file or folder...

PM explains the main issue however here are pics below of before and after trying to delete a folder..

Great job though Roessi as you included all that was missing from an already great template..

Im having some issues with my custom favicon not showing in IE8, Oprea (latest version) as well as Chrome (latest version)..

However my custom favicon does show fine on Firefox (latest version) on my PC as well as other "outside" PC's running Firefox also..

I know a normal favicon.ico should be labeled like this between <head> ~ </head>..
Witch it is and the script would be labeled like this:
  <link rel="shortcut icon" href="favicon.ico" >

However Im using an animated .GIF favicon..
This is where the issue is found as the custom .gif icon works only on Firefox and is scripted like this between <head> ~ </head>:
  <link rel="icon" type="image/gif" href="animated_favicon1.gif" >

My issue is why the custom "animated_favicon1.gif" is only showing in Firefox and not with in any other Internet browsers..
(exsample: On IE8 it will still show the IE logo with in the tabs.. Not the custom favicon)

Anyone have any ideas why the custom favicon is not showing?..
Thanks for your time..

Specs:
Beta 266
RAWR-Template-0.1.2
Also if its any help Im using this site (link below) to make my custom animated favicon:

HFS ~ HTTP File Server / Re: Self test error
« on: August 18, 2010, 10:27:48 PM »
sorry for not having been accurate before.
Tell me if
1. you set port 888
2. you click self test
3. after self test is done, and it says successful
4. the port on the screen is still 888

because i noticed the self test says successful even if i set to a non-working port, but it automatically checks also port 80.
Never had the issue where the port with in HFS would revert back to 80 or 8080..

All tests on ports that I have done stayed on that port number with in HFS's menu until I changed it to yet another port to test..
(exp. *changed port to 888 - ran test - came back as successful - the port still remains at 888)

Dont know whats going on..
If it helps Im running Windows 7 x32 Ultimate with a WRT-54G router running DD-WRT...

After looking at the plugin section on that site:
http://flowplayer.org/plugins/index.html
I really dont see how it would be an issue..

Just as you have said just have to see "how" to get the scripts made correctly~

HFS ~ HTTP File Server / Re: Pre-veiw Speed VS. Download/Upload Speed
« on: August 18, 2010, 05:53:56 AM »
what's pre-view speed?
I guess I should have specified my issue..

When speaking of "Pre-View" speed Im referring to the previewing of videos & music (streaming media in other words)...

As for my bandwidth:
My bandwidth is fine and the matter of my bandwidth from the comparison of a "pre-view" & normal download is irrelevant as I would think the "pre-view" and download speed should be the same..

However within "pre-viewing" media does the media in self buffer?..
Would that explain why the speeds are slower with in downloads compared to streaming media?..

Ether way I do not believe something is correct as both download anyways in the end~

diff template should always be preferred.
special:strings is not needed.
Ok, thank you for the replie..
Just wanted to clarify on the special:strings as I never screwed with that.. However read about it in one of the posts here on the forum that its needed in some cases..

does port 888 work?
Yes port 888 works on my end..

As for what ports where used.. I used of of the ports listed below (link) as well as many random numbers as well..

you should try to get it through scripting.
Still learning on my part about scripting..

Once scripts are found though should testing be done with in the "Diff Template" with in the ROOT?..
Plus I also take it that "[+special:strings]" needs to be added as well..

I do apologize on this N00b scripting issue

I gave some very hard core testings via ports..

After 234 port testings I gave up..
All ports work on my end and the test's where completely successful

As for the black list testings.. Here are my results

I found that port 80 and 8080 are tested without a problem. Problems is on other ports. Can you confirm?
Confirmed working on both 80 & 8080 on my end
