HFS ~ HTTP File Server / Problem viewing on Android
« on: January 28, 2011, 05:39:13 PM »
I didn't know which forum to go on this one, besides i didn't see a 'create topic' button. Hope you can insert this into the correct area.

My HFS is my ftp server. I suppose like the rest of you. You are all welcome to the stuff: ...   leech ....   me ..

so this is me question or statement: On my Android, each time i visit my site from the phone it seems to only show like this on the phone: see attachment, except only 5 folders at a time. the bottom of the phone screen is white below the first 3 boxes on the left and oly 5 folders show. Cannot make it continuous. It seems that everything listed that would show below the 3 boxes on the left will NOT dispaly so i only see 5 folders at a time even if i list No Pages.

Just thought i would give you a heads up. If i am experiencing this others will.

HFS ~ HTTP File Server / download folder
« on: January 28, 2009, 05:31:07 PM »
Hi guys. Just wondering ...

When a user go to my site and wants to download the contents of the entire folder, can that be done? The way i see it know is that the user downloads each file individually. Can a 'menu' option be added to 'download the contents' of the folder or maybe put a check at it to download?

Oh, i am using Avast! 4.8 (up to date) and no alarms. Avast! is pretty good at catching stuff.

HFS ~ HTTP File Server / Question about log output ...
« on: November 05, 2008, 06:06:37 AM »
I see this in my log .. from different IPs of course:

9:56:20 PM Requested GET /?sort=t
9:56:20 PM Requested GET /?sort=s
9:56:20 PM Requested GET /?sort=e
9:57:25 PM Check update: no new version
9:57:40 PM Requested GET /?sort=n&
9:58:56 PM Requested GET /?sort=e&

I have only given the password to one person other than myself and if it is from a valid IP it looks like:

10:05:05 PM{} Requested GET /
10:05:11 PM leech@{} Requested GET /Ftp/

..  leech is the user name example i used ..

Oh, I am using HFS - Beta #212

Thanks for any info.

HFS ~ HTTP File Server / Security Vulnerabilities
« on: October 20, 2008, 07:48:02 PM »
My ISP blocks the use of port 80 and 21 BUT HFS FIleserver i can get the files i need like an ftp. Thanks!

Anyway ... i am concerned. There are Security Vulnerabilities that need to be addressed.

Are there any security updates? Are they being addressed? Does the BETA address this?

Thanks guys!
