a little failure in the security
download manager's site manager enable multiple registration of the same user

using both,
user name@ + pass
and
space + user name@ + pass
enable to ignore the download limit slot number,
only the speed limit can restrict the 2 time logged user


here the number of download is limited to 1 slot only, and the speed download limit is on 50K by user.
you can see the result about space + name

and maybe exponential .... space+space ....space+space+space...etc

curiously,
the speed limit for single address is not working on folder.tar download.
it works 1 or 2 min and revert to unlimited speed.

kick all connections or IP is not enought, tar download is still speed unlimited

thank you for the frame alert.
generally i was using iframe for flash objects hosted on another server, using javascript or text or xml files (some animated flash object need to host the data in the same location),and iframe for the accordeon menu
i will try to use others html editors (passing the WC3 validation if i found one)
or DHTML moving or sizable windows scripts,
and check the code on these navigators.

i have a lot of compatibility trouble using firefox and flock,
some old flash player don't work, javascript version or code is not compatible, i must update all the multimedia player and try to use rss playlist more than xml.
even the JW player single video wizard is not working in firefox.(i am not alone)

to resolve my trouble i simply used a scrolling="auto" 900px  iframe. it show 2 scrollbars at the right. not fun to use but working on all navigators.

one day it will work directly! the time to learn more and update the template.
i have to much files to make a working 43000px iframe on a 32767px limited navigator, it is my punition! everyday we learn!
sorry to make you lose your time on this stupid navigator limitation (one more).

graphic bug
is on all last versions (tested on 238 to 229) after my machine crashed i have stop the test.
i remember this case was momentary resolved in version 211, but the navigator version change and the trouble comes again.

actually, tested also with the default template and without javascript, i have always the same result.
iframe height="32800" is over,  32700 and a few more will be OK.
i have tested all situations(also root page frame off) and the result is still the same.

the frame vertical size is limited and show a black rectangle,
right click over this rectangle to see the zone source show the frame content generated HFS code.

i suspect windows to need a reboot more after any drive name modif,
and to be confused on some machine drive heavy map, here 6,5To.
(curiously it show a write error order for drives WXYZ)

especially when using USB dongles and virtual drives using letters "before" a fixed letter drive.
it seems it should be better to fix real drives with first letters, to keep virtual drives always after in the drive alphabet (a windows joke)

i have bugged HFS again installing a setup from ISO mounted drives also hosted on HFS. (with Ultra iso from EZB system)
install the setup with HFS opened make it instable.(no response in taskmgr and double process showed)
close HFS,
start the setup install,
open HFS during the install, continue to install changing iso mounted drives works.
(tested on toontrack superior drummer 2 install, hard to reproduce for massimo)

mounted and unmounted drives changes give some strange reactions sometimes, not when coping files but when it use a setup.

some multi iso drive install will make crash HFS ( in my case )
the virtual drive changes (showing, hiding) are not very well supported.

i will be careful.

the problem arise when you open the the drive management dialog, it don't show anything when HFS is opened and it bug the system.
even the taskmgr is hard to open, nothing react normally, only a total reset can close the machine.

i have used drives controled by a 3 part embeded RAID manager (not the system one) on a ASUS P4C800 E motherboard, maybe it come's from here.
(the mother board RAID manager) if you dont use it, the drive are not seen by the system. Start the system with No array defined on new drives make a strange reaction with HFS. Without HFS all is OK.

i know the XP joke about affect letters to the drives to see them, but the bug come's before this step.

il y a toujours des découvertes spectaculaires avec windows, celle ci est gratinée.

hello,
i have just installed new drives in my machine,
and when you have HFS opened and want to reach the windows drive manager to format a new partition.

the machine become mad and HFS bug, all windows opened appz bug
you cant use both at the same time when you have a not formated drive.

all is working only after you have formated your drive, and open HFS after.
something is not compatible in the drive management (on Windows XP PRO SP3 as usual) 

i have moved to v337 directly from formated drives but the case can come again.

a new behavior in the user account option for this version.
the user accounts ignore limits OFF function works only after a vfs save.
when ignore limit ON works directly.

About your video troubles...

you can embed a java flash player

and use external playlist "with" or "without" login access.

using an older version and swfobject v1.5

in the accordeon floating menu, select the multimedia player.
in the music playlist, the last one, frandysax is login protected

log from the menu or asking the file directly
you can also use one login from the menu and use another one only for the playlist only.( 2 security levels )




so you can protect your porno video           

hfs is very cool to check the JW FLV player javascript result before upload a player on a site
(because of the hosting needed for swf object v2.1 and java preview)

if it don't open normally, try to load your vfs file not connected to the web, and open the web slot when hfs is showing.

for me too HFS 217 is not stable, it cut the connection without any reason. (an auto tilt inside)
when bugged, save historic is not enable, the only thing to do is close HFS.

other little graphic bug, when you click on file properties, it don't show the good windows, it show the file masks text form. you need to open another window and return to the Permissions to see the users text box.

hello,

i have a trouble (no start) with the HFS.vfs load when too many request are opened at the start (all limit off),
curiously download accelerators are not well supported and need from users too adjust the parameters,
less slots or more time on request delay.
if not flashget (or else) can make easily crash hfs. (not only at the start load)
the only way to debug a too heavy process or the vfs load is to cut the Internet, adjust or store your hfs parameters (before a crash), connect again the web.

i have 3 crash today on one logged heavy user + an anonymous guest IP asking too much not protected files at the same time.
After the opening and at the start.

the actual solution...
i use the "max simultaneous download limit from single address" + a ban on the crashing guest IP to keep hfs stable.
(sorry for the crashing guest)

but "speed limit for single address" need more option.***
maybe
"Single Address User Downloading speed limit"
"Single Address Anonymous Downloading speed limit"
+ enable a filter on the file to speed limit, to exempt the html, css, js, xml, flw of the speed limit.
if not it slow also everybody on the html template view or your hosted web pages.
the idea is to limit only the files to download speed (DATA),
to free the CPU charge without slowing the html template view.

limit user (speed 1) .... sub level can be introduced ... happy user group ....unlucky user group.
limit guest (speed 2) ... for the security + useful.
no limit user (full speed)
no limit html file (full speed)

Still a strange graphical trouble, only in "Flock or Firefox", in big vertical size pages layer management.

broken again in all versions over and few other's under.

the vertical size of a iFrame is not showing well, it give a black mask effect in the bottom of the page.

PS: frame size = height: 70000  for a better "Chrome" explorer compatibility only. under value give a wrong middle placement.
