Title: PHP equivalent of great HFS software?

I love HFS, use it at home often, but would like to have a similar file server for work using PHP.  I'd like to install it on the current apache server running SSL.  Any suggestions on any open source or commercial software available which will do this?

I've yet to come across a PHP application that resembles HFS, but then again I stopped looking after I found this site :)

For a PHP based file manager, I'd suggest looking at Extplorer http://extplorer.sourceforge.net/.  There are also simpler file managers out there if you don't need the glitter.  Most don't offer the virtual file system, but if you're on Linux there is always sym-links... :X

You can user AjaxPlorer web file manager http://www.ajaxplorer.info/.
It's a very comfortable web browser with permissions and user roles.
