can u explain me that step by step?
hmm.... i told a story about a hypothetical plugin i never saw. i see no step

electron is reporting a post where i gave a (very stupid) tip on how to get the contact.list.txt everywhere with &RQ, but this is not related with ICQ, nor ICQ2GO.
If you want to upload your contact list on the ICQ server to get the list ready when you open ICQ2GO, my advice is
1) export your list in &RQ using the "export to .clb" in special menĂ¹
2) import it in ICQ 2002/3, i don't remember where the import function is
3) connect with ICQ, so it should upload the list to the server
it should be done.
i mean MB-s. at about how much does it take when i chat to someone?
??
to save the chat on file is an option, but enabled by default. you can disable it and you will get zero bytes occupied.
when it is enabled, every message takes about 37+N byte, where N is the number of characters in the message.
supposing 15 chars avarage length (i get a lots of 2-3 chars long messages), you can store about 20000 messages in 1 Mb.
