Post by: eddy on March 05, 2014, 07:45:49 AM
hi is there a way to work with 2 dns? for example type "dyndns.dfsdf.com/...;dyndns.fdfsd.com/..."

yes,
Menu > Ip Adress > Custom
you can enter as many as you want

the "dns updater" in HFS supports just one address, but that's not a limit, you can use another one

so but i meant using more than 1 in dns updater – maybe you could do that? i guess it's not hard to update 2 adresses instead of 1..

as  say rejetto hfs can manage only one dns name, but you can use another software to manage a second name

an example with no-ip.com

one account managed by hfs
second account  with their software http://www.noip.com/download?page=win

i know that but hfs working with 2 dns would be better, it's not hard for hfs to carry 2 strings instead of 1, just need to tell it how to.

not possible to have two dns names, hfs has 3 offers + custom  but can manage only one of them.

Maybe... try to open two copies HFS and in the first set to one DNS, the second - to another.

One problem, that may cause: ports, but I think that it can be solved.

the included updater is simple, for those who have simple needs, so they can avoid using a specialized updater.
Since i have very little time to improve HFS, i won't spend it on a powerful updater.

eddy,

you can use a dyndns on hfs and dyndns updater for the other, both would then work tot he machine provided that you are port forwarding coretly.

have your machine be a dyndns with this software:
http://dyn.com/support/clients/

and hfs custom to the other dyndns site
