You may try posting a screenshot of your HFS to see why when you try to login, it times out. Or you can copy and paste your HFS logs here.

Mars: I think this is not related to UPX, since the previous version were packed and clean to all the antivirus, and the last build was uncompressed (that's why it's 8MB instead 2MB). This is weird, may be it's clean, but I can't be sure...

The Error 80711008 it's related to PS3, not HFS.
It's a "Network connection error".

Two questions:
1. Can you access your HFS server from another PC, tablet or mobile phone?
2. Can you access any other website on your PS3?

If it's "no" to the first question, then you need to configure your HFS server (configure port forwarding o check your firewall). If it's "no" to the second question, then you need to configure you PS3 connection.

Bug reports / Re: why hfs very slow ?
« on: October 18, 2014, 05:11:57 AM »
i konw where is the problem ,is "google".
As I posted before here (and nobody cared about it), it would be great to have all those files hosted "locally". So I propose to include this file (and any other file that's hosted externally on internet), so HFS would work without needing any file from internet. Having a external file like this one (jquery.js) is a privacy issue, too, since you Google would know about our HFS server.

Thanks for your efforts SilentPliz, but your updated version (Compiled 2014-09-27) is still infected... :(

You may try to compile it in a clean Virtual Machine (like VirtualBox), instead of using your normal system (and when you compile it, upload it directly and do not attempt to run it, to avoid to be infected).

Win32/Mabezat is not the typical kind of 'false positive', so, be careful when cleaning your system. Sometimes, those infections are hard to remove.

Keep in touch if you need any help... ;)
Good luck!

Hi SilentPliz! :)

I know there are a lot of false positives on antivirus scans lately, but it looks like for sure that your last release is infected by the worm called: "Win32/Mabezat.A". You can check the results on VirusTotal.com here, and here. :'(

Worm: Win32/Mabezat.A is a worm that attempts to spread by copying itself to newly attached media devices, such as USB drives or USB media cards, and even writable network drives. In some samples, Win32/Mabezat can also infect .EXE files by prepending its code to the host file.
> More info about this worm, here, here and here.

This looks like a nasty worm. Please, make sure you do a full scan of your PC, since this worm will infect all the .exe files that you may release in the future.

Your previous release (HFS 2.3a2 SSL #289) was 100% clean.

FHFS / Re: 2.1.0 SSL enabling help

Usually you have to modify httpd.conf file to enable SSL. I can't recall exactly, but there must be some .conf file that you may have to edit to accept external IPs. Here, and here you have some data.

I don't have FHFS installed to test this, but may be someone can give you more information. I hope it helps....

As I've said in another post, I must say thank you, to both of you: Rejetto and Daniele Linguaglossa, for making this release. I'm very happy that Daniele finally did help Rejetto to fix this security issue. :)

PS: I owe an apology to you, Daniele. Because at first I thought that you were a 14-years-old hacker kid, who was bragging about it. I was wrong, and I give you my apology. Greetings! :D

I did some quick tests (because I'm having very little time), and HTTPS (443) and FTP (21) are not working on your website. Did you open, ports 443 and 21? You must open them on your router, and check if your firewall have those ports open too. Searching in the forum, you will find more information.
Good luck.... ;)

But I don't find 2.3b Build #290 sources code. :'(
That's right, thanks for bring it up. I didn't say anything before, to not bother him. :-[ But it's true, in the 'Download' section, it links to 'hfs2.3b_290.src.zip' in SourceForge.net, but there aren't any file for v2.3b Build #290.

Sorry, I need to update my automatic publication procedure so to push sources as well. I hope to do it soon but these days are harder, since a person left the office 2 months ago, i inherited his workload and we didn't find another yet.
I do understand you, there is not hurry. ;) I think you can at least upload your sources, directly to melauto.it or webfactional.com hosts (the same hosting you use for your executables), instead of using sourceforge.net at all. May be it's easier to you. I'm just thinking out loud...

Anyway, I wish you all the best Rejetto, you are doing a great job, even when some people don't want to collaborate (**cough**daniele*cough**)....

I think he wants to build a reputation as hacker, so in that case, he should be sending the exploit to exploit-db.com. If he doesn't upload the exploit there, it means this is all a fake and this exploit it doesn't really exists. Period.
