Bug reports / Re: why hfs very slow ?
« on: October 19, 2014, 06:22:55 PM »
As I posted before here (and nobody cared about it), it would be great to have all those files hosted "locally". So I propose to include this file (and any other file that's hosted externally on internet), so HFS would work without needing any file from internet. Having a external file like this one (jquery.js) is a privacy issue, too, since you Google would know about our HFS server.
I totally agree!  100%
HFS should be completely independent!

HFS ~ HTTP File Server / Re: HFS on Android (WebKit) Browser.
« on: April 02, 2014, 08:13:10 AM »
If you are trying to download, not stream?
I just downloaded a mp3 from my HFS mobile server to my Android.
Then I Up Loaded a mp3 from my Android to my server.
I'm using Opera Classic on my phone.  My experience with
webkit browsers on Android has not been acceptable thus far. Problems with
login, upload, download, etc. Opera classic doesn't have these issues.
I figured it was due to my template configuration, but I don't have the
time or inclination to re-write it, just for webkit compatibility.
Not sure but Firefox for Android may be webkit now too.

HFS ~ HTTP File Server / Re: Feature Request: bind root to where HFS.exe is

I bind root to real folder that is not hfs.exe folder due to the configuration of my
site.  Works fine for me as is.

Finding a suitable new place to live can be very time consuming.
I hope it all works out well for you!

Beta / Re: Testing build #280
« on: July 01, 2012, 03:26:45 PM »
Haven't had time to extensively test on desktop, but haven't
seen any problems with 280.
With my 2.3.6 Android, upload, download, archive, delete,
move, copy, add folder, rename, as well as all remote admin
functions work.
Login with stunnel worked as expected, with Opera Mobil on Android.

HFS ~ HTTP File Server / Re: Android tablet download problem
« on: June 03, 2012, 06:28:11 AM »
I just downloaded a .doc and a .xls file from HFS to my Samsung Illusion
on 2.36 using Opera Mobil verion 12.00.
I was logged in on https via stunnel downloading from the WAN.
The system browser on this phone didn't work very well, as I remember.
I'd try another browser.

HFS ~ HTTP File Server / Re: How to
« on: December 29, 2011, 05:11:42 PM »
Can somebody please point me in the right direction on how to download whole folders instead of downloading just one file at a time?
Its ready to use in default template in 2.3 Build 279?
Downloads all files checked marked as tar archive. Any zip prog will unpack a .tar.

After you change the word Archive to Download, and add

2) button "download" near every folder in default template & "download selected" instead "archive" button, the word DOWNLOAD more understandable than ARCHIVE in the world
2) Search in default tpl for Archive, probably as {.!Archive.} and change it to what ever you wish. Easy !
5) Template mod already been done, search the forum for script for this.
