HTML & templates / Re: HFS Black - The Black HFS Template!
« on: June 03, 2007, 07:10:36 PM »
Hello Mr Anon, Rejetto & Others,
Haven't been on the site in a while as I have been busy with a new job but good to see things are still clicking right along. Hope all is well with the HFS'ers!

Mr. Anon.. At my last check the Black Template (My Fav) was at version 3. I
was wondering if you have done a update with it again? I trust Rejetto and
your skills above others and was interested in a update from the last. If one is not available just let me know if you would.

Thanks to you and Rejetto for the best small HTTP file server software and template
BAR-NON!

All the best and GOD BLESS!!

HFS ~ HTTP File Server / 2.0 coming...

hi iron :)
2.0 is going quite well
the real problem now is the instability bug using the speed limiter

Welll.. I don't use "speed limit" but went ahead and set mine up to
run users at 200kbs with 4 max connections. It  has now
run for about a week now with no problems or lock ups...  Can't find
anything crazy here.. What is FTS doing when the lock up or whatever
happens? I have had as many as 3 uploading and downloading at the
same time and FTS holds all levels at 200kbs on T1...  I will keep it
set at 200kbs for a week or so more and see if it cracks...

HFS ~ HTTP File Server / Running Beta7 Now
« on: November 11, 2004, 10:55:00 PM »
Hi Rejetto..

Haven't been on in a while and had some catching up to do.. Started running Beta7 a few days back with Mr Anon's NEW Black Template
and all is working fine "so far" with no problems.. I took my web page down off the server and now only run HFS to pass a few files now and then..
Not quite the activity the system had before but still gets a good workout.
Hope all is well in Rejetto land.. Best wishes and thanks again for such a cool program..

Hey Mr. Anon...

Thanks for the template update for the Beta versions.. Haven't been on
much and I had some catching up to do.. Nice to see all is going well..
I took my web page off the server and now just run HFS for my own needs
to pass a few files around.. HFS is still working fine for me and the Black
Template looks cooler then ever.. I like the bandwidth meter.. Way cool...

« on: July 11, 2004, 10:06:47 PM »
Hello all,
Been out of cyber for a few weeks.. Got hit buy lightning on the main
server and lost it and two support computers.. Home Owners covered
my loss and back online now..

The new Alpha18 has been running with BlackAlpha16.tpl with no
problems or lock ups.. With my server being down for two weeks
the system was real busy.. GREAT JOB!!

Thanks.. Good to be back online..

HTML & templates / Yeah.. The code works fine..
« on: July 11, 2004, 09:54:56 PM »
Sorry guys it took me so long to get back to you but have had some
bad things happen here.. My mother passed away and my server and
two support computers got hit by lightning all in the same week... All of
which made my life totaly suck for a few weeks.. Things are getting
better now and have most of my sanity back.. Notice.. (MOST)

The code works fine, just seems to be that my copy and paste skills
needed a revamp.  The problem was a part of the new code didn't get
copied for some odd reason.. The new server and all is working fine
with no problems now.. I have added alpha18 to the BlackAlpha16.tpl
and both have been working all weekend.. GREAT JOB!!

HTML & templates / Added Code to Black Alpha15
« on: June 22, 2004, 10:20:29 PM »
Hi Mr Anon..

I added that code line to the Black Alpha15 where you said
and got some bad responce from local network side for some reason..
Lost the effect of the progress meter..  No progress ever shown but
gained the band meter with no display of upload bandwidth scale..
May have been that I was connected local network.. Not sure.. Just added
the code a sec ago.. Going to wait and see what happens when someone
uses it from the Internet side.. Should be the same result.. I think..

May just wait till everything is gone over to add that to the html code
for alpha16 and tested.. It did seem to run ok on alpha15 black anyway
with just the progress meter.. No big deal the progress meter works
well enough for now..  If the bandwidth code has a problem.. Like I
said.. I'm not sure yet..

HFS ~ HTTP File Server / 2.0alpha16 url
« on: June 20, 2004, 03:46:19 AM »
Cool.. Going to check it out.. Here is the URL if someone want's it..

www.rejetto.com/temp/hfs2.0alpha16.zip

Remember.. U will have to use the default template and not Black
alpha15 template.. I'm sure Mr Anon will give us a update soon on
the new template black.. That is if you want to use the upload bandwidth
meter now on alpha16.. Seems the Black alpha15 will also work but
with only the upload progress meter shown..

Mr. Anon has now posted a code line under the Black Template thread
to add the upload band meter if someone is looking for it.. I added it
and lost the effect of the progress meter but gained the band meter..
No display of upload bandwidth but I was on local.. Going to wait and
see what happens when someone uses it from the net side..
May just wait till everything is gone over to add that to the html code
for alpha16..

« on: June 19, 2004, 10:36:43 PM »
Thanks Rejetto.. Leave it to me to find the wacked out stuff with HFS..
I guess thats what this is all about with us all testing the Alpha's, everyone
of us will be doing something different with it and then thats when the
strange stuff comes out... Thanks for the fix!! La8er ACE!!

HFS ~ HTTP File Server / Re-exam..
« on: June 18, 2004, 11:26:34 PM »
Yep.. Thats what it is.. I set up another running HFS on a server
for a friend or two with 3 real folders and the upload button is shown
on the real folders even when they are not access leveled for uploads.
No big deal.. I just set up as virtual folder and the upload button
goes away...  Thanks.. Took me a while to figure
out what was going on.. Just wanted Rejetto to know about the little
real folder bug, but most people are not going to set HFS up under that
condition.. Leave it to me to do something wacky with it..

HFS ~ HTTP File Server / Upload Button ON
« on: June 16, 2004, 12:46:53 AM »
I've got some users trying to upload to a non upload section due
to the upload button showing on a non upload section folder. Seems
this only happens if its a non virtual folder.. Virtual folders don't display
the upload button but regular folders do even if they are not set up
for uploads.. If I set up at least one security access to the regular
folder (ME) the upload button doesn't display to lower level users..
However, If I don't set at least one upload level access to the regular
folder then everyone gets the upload button on that regular folder
and includes any subfolder.. To kill the upload button on sub folders
I have to set upper level access for one level user (ME).. I'm still
trying to figure what's exactly going on here but I think I have nailed
it or pretty close.. Still under the microscope to see how many legs
are on this little bugger.. Hold still you little...

HFS ~ HTTP File Server / Corupted Upload File Problem
« on: June 10, 2004, 04:17:39 AM »
Rejetto..

Got one problem.. Aborted upload doesn't remove the part file.. It's left
on the system and becomes a corupted file.. ZIP..ETC.. I think it closes
the open file but then it's just left behind resulting in a bad upload and
some pissed off users that download it.. Even though, if the first uploader
would just  go ahead and reupload the same file it would overwrite the
bad one..

I have a few young users that when mom or dad come down the hall
to the bedroom at 3am they flip the computer off and play dead.. Thus
the upload is never finished and I have a bad upload that I don't know
about till I edit the system but someone will spend time to download
the 30 meg file on dialup and get pissed when it doesn't dezip or play..
Then they want to trash me over it..  Thanks for any help on this..
Sheesh...
