"Add Contact by UIN" dialog doesn't allow anything to be entered into the box.

Bug with buddylist groups expansion state.

In these tests, I did not use incremental keyboard display name search feature at all.  In these tests, "Show groups" option was turned on, and "Start - Auto-connect on start" checkbox was checked.

Case 1. "Show only online contacts" option is turned off.

In this mode, if we close and relaunch &rq, expansion states of groups below the "----------offline---------" divider are restored as they were before application close.

However, expansion states of groups above the "----------offline---------" divider are NOT restored.  These groups become expanded after application relaunch.

Case 2. "Show only online contacts" option is turned on.

In this mode, if we close and relaunch &rq, expansion states of groups are NOT restored.  These groups become expanded after application relaunch.

I also discovered that this behavior depends on the state of "Start - Auto-connect on start" checkbox.

When it is checked, we get wrong behavior.

When it is unchecked, we get right behavior.  However, when we login, we lose expansion states.

In all cases, bottomline: we lose the expansion states after the login.

notice that expansion state when offline is different from the one when online

i save the state for the "online" group, the "offline" and the "contacts" group. the last one is the one showed when you are offline

Another bug-like behavior:

My computer was on during the entire night.  When I got back, I saw 30 or 50 or so error dialogs like "Error connecting" or "Disconnected".

My option "Show connection errors" is unchecked.

  EC_rateExceeded,
  EC_cantConnect,
  EC_socket,
  EC_serverDisconnected,
  EC_loginDelay,
  EC_invalidFlap

good thing is that &rq has no known fatal bugs.

(except for the "[history - message delete] can damage history file" issue).

v0.8.3.3

preferences->hotkeys-> wanted to delete all hotkeys
can't delete the last hotkey... error says:
"Access violation at adress 004E8169 in module "&RQ.EXE". Read of adress  FFFFFFFF."

cheers,
makaara

info: win98se @ athlon 1,4

oh second bug:

the beta version v0.8.3.3 ate up some of my contacts while importing them from icq 2000b it  crunched them to little pieces...so I missed some of the contacts and got many contacts with UINs like "1", "3234", "24124", "45513" and so on.
Not very good, though.

greetings
makaara
