In other therms... Why you're using &RQ?

The main reason is some of the functions &rq has that icq doesn't (and neither does most clones). The ability to see and log contacts status changes, awaymsgs and so on. It has a few nice "spy" features, yet isn't solely a spy feature program. Also rejetto listens to requests, but that is not the main reason why I use it. No banners are also good, but could be removed from icq with some hacking. I have to go for features, the tabbed chat window is innovative, I like to have my chats open, yet doesn't want to clutter my whole desktop with chat windows for all people.

I'm looking forward for that protocol rewrite this autumn. Just remember, rejetto, that file transfer is more important than server-side contacts :)

[Edit:]

I voted "fully configurable", because I want many options in a client. Many options, many features. I don't care about exe size. I have a good network connection :)

I think there are many of cool features, other clients don't have....i love it to see if somebody is reading my away message, i love it to store all information of an user in the history (inc. away message, i read, oncoming, offgoing, and so on...).
It's great that rejetto tries to carry out our suggestions and ideas to put them in a new &RQ version.
I'm using &RQ since last year, and there's no need to take another icq client...

I'm using it coz I couldnt connect (at work) using ICQ.
And its small and doesn't look like messaging software coz of the themes...therefore I can get away with using it
