oh, sure!
sorry for delay - just returned from a mission
---
in our office we use http/https proxy (SQUID on LINUX) with authorization
no SOCKS
it's a real problem for me :( - that is why there was this REQUEST
but in WINAMP for example the construction as LOGIN:PASSWORD@PROXY (mynick:mypass@myproxy) entered in its proxy setup lets me to use winamp to listen music from inet via our proxy
the same construction in &RQ doesnt work

&RQ works fine with http proxy, I've just change login port 5190 to 443 because of my squid allow ssl ports fo direct connection only, but does not work with https proxy.
&RQ send request with wrong HTTP-Version:
CONNECT 205.188.179.233:443 HTTPS/1.0

Is there differences between http and https for &RQ? Is https traffic encrypted?

as far as i know, it should be encrypted by the client/server system
the proxy should swap the bytes without knowing nothing about them
so, no encryption
the problem is about the user/pass, not supported yet

Today I've try 0.9.4.0 version
I see HTTP disapear in setup.
There are only HTTPS.
So SQUID work fine!
In Prev version only HTTP work through SQUID.
HTTPS - can't work

I'm think you must.
There are some proxies that doesn't support HTTPS.
Beside you ask about work of HTTPS and different Proxy,
and i give you answer that SQUID is OK.

If to talk about problem - a have the one.
When i write message in a chat window to one user,
and receive incoming message from second user,
then have automatically switched chat window to second user.
Last typed chars crosswalk to second user window.
A've enabled features - openchat, popup.

Is it possible to have popup feature enabled, but same time
when i seat in chat window with one user and receive message from another do not automatically switch to another user window?

Not shure that above is understandable.
Sorry for bad english.

about HTTP and HTTPS
i removed HTTP, but actually i send an HTTP request
cause from my tests i understood HTTP requests are managed from both HTTP and HTTPS proxies
if someone will warn me about incompatibilities, i will readd the the difference between HTTP and HTTPS

i should rename HTTPS in HTTP/S, or HTTP/HTTPS since it is for both...

...about popup bug

it is a bug, i never noticed it cause i don't use that feature
i will fix it

this is due to a typo in 09.lang.txt
i typed icq error with a space, but &RQ searches for icqerror
you can fix it yourself
it is fixed in 0.9.4.4
