The  hfs.events  file goes in the same folder as hfs.exe--from the keyboard, you can do Alt+F6
Also set downloads per ip to 3
Also set connections per ip to 4
And, turn off speed limit; turn off speed limit per ip.

Why do you insist on turning off the speed limits? The speed limit can lead to such errors? And what is the difference between downloads per ip and connections per ip?

because speed limit is vulnerable to download manager attack
The attack was carried out using browsers, not the download manager.. In my case...

Thanks advance and Best regards!

Sometimes the program is buggy. I can't even open the program from a minimized ! ...
In my build I'm getting error in tfile.getParent
Because (node.data.node <> node) - and looks like getparent going in loop.

Except for gigabit connections, No hung requests with:
HFS 2.4rc2

Is this a beta testing version?
What does it mean, with the exception of gigabit connections, there are no hanging requests? I have a gigabit connection, and this can cause hfs to freeze? Cable connection, without a router.

I don’t quite understand how to create this?

Quote
Either adding a slower secondary interface to the server (just for HFS)

I do not want to use another netlimiter program as a crutch! :o

Why does this freeze occur once a day or once every two days? It is very strange? Can increase RAM from 4 gigabytes to 8 GB? Two slots RAM in two threads. Maybe this will help? It is strange that with version K I did not notice this.
If reboot PC more often, hfs freezes more often. Now using version 2.4 rc2

I think that the problem isn't in scope for a template.

But, just in case...

Here's a development version that didn't make it.  It would be interesting if this stopped your freezes.

I Disabled the speed limit for single ip. And generally turn off the speed limit.

Set only Maximum simultaneous downloads for single address: 2

The program has stopped freezing!  Hallelujah!!!  This all happens to cause a speed limit.  Now everything is clear!

I will not have to limit the speed otherwise it will freeze.

Upload at gigabit speed, simultaneous with downloads, can stop it.
That problem is different because UI is responsive at the console but clients can't connect until server is restarted.

We don't have a watchdog feature yet, so. . .

Attached is hfs.events file with caching and 4 am reboot.
Then each morning it can restart hfs and be ready again.

New problem:  Not all versions of HFS work with [at 4:05] timer in events file.
You can check the log to see if it starts at 4:06 am.

My Version of HFS 2.4rc2
Here it is necessary not only to stop and start the server, but to completely close it and open it again. This is only using the Windows Task Scheduler.
I just don’t want to bother with this. The speed limit is simply disabled. And OK!

so, can you tell me what are the conditions that cause the problem?
is gigabit a necessary condition?

I know only one thing, when I disabled the speed limit for single address
and the problem of freezing disappeared.
Set only the max simultaneous downloads from single address in the value: 2

You can try the WatchCat https://rejetto.com/forum/index.php?topic=12055.msg1065322#msg1065322
It is the keep-alive feature that many routers and servers have.
